Thank you for your story, "A Son Never Forgets." I was feeling depressed and used a search engine to look up the topic of "depression." After reading your story, I can see that there is little to be depressed about when there are good and kind people like your mother. I think her life was fulfilling, though, because she could have children. I am trying to have children, but am not having much success. Please keep me in your prayers. Your story also meant much to me, because I am living in Korea now.

tragic story. i know it's also controversial, but i wonder if our cause for the Good News has suffered or benefited from this episode.
negotiating with terrorists is like negotiating with my 5-yr old; there's no end. but i do know a pastor who is a friend with one of those guys, and understand how he has a different perspective from outsiders like me.

Hey Joe,

My mom's from Daegu as well. I sent her the links and she loved them. Thanks! :) She sent it to all her brothers and sisters across the US and they were going crazy too ... it seems they knew the exact locations of some of those pictures. Pretty wild. If you come across more like that, let me know!

Joe, These pictures rock. Koreans are a wiley group i tell you. If you look at those pictures Daegu looks worse than any Mexican slum village. In about 20-25 years that place probably looked like a modern city. Same for the rest of korea. So i would like to say that Thuk > Tortillas. Its unfortunate that Korea is not connected to the US like Mexico, if it were I would have problems choosing from the million korean restaurants instead of what i have now, which is finding one that doesnt suck.
